A slow start to the season cost us dearly. Draws in our first three games and a cup defeat in our next game meant we were chasing the eventual league winners for the rest of the season.
We have been working hard in training and pre-season friendlies to ensure this never happens again.
Finishing runners up in the league was thoroughly deserved. The team scored 115 league goals and conceded only 30. Top scorer with 33 goals was Joel Ferguson, Thomas Drake a close second with 32 goals. Our highest win was 16 - 0 in which Robert Smyth scored 4 and Jacob Orr scored 2...nothing extraordinary about this except they are our 2 goalkeepers!

Expectations are high for the new season and Peter and myself believe that the team have the ability and determination to win both cup and league.
The squad knows that however demanding Peter and myself can be and regardless of how the season transpires we are very proud of all of them. Everyone of the players have improved in their ability to play football and we both hope that kids and parents alike have enjoyed the last 3 seasons.

A cracking start to the season set Ards Rangers on top of the league from the first game. The team performances in some of the games this season were outstanding and hard work from all ensured that we finished LEAGUE CHAMPIONS. PLAYED 22 WON 20 DREW 1 LOST 1 FOR 143 AGAINST 20 POINTS 61
The above record speaks for itself! Overall the kids fully deserved their title and have all developed throughout the season. Hopefully we can continue were we left off.

Ards Rangers U13...2008 - 2009 (05/04/09)
Another cracking start to the season put us on top of the league from the very first Saturday. We continued to set the pace and eventually finished league winners by 12 clear points. During the season Rangers were undefeated in the league competition and set a new league winning points record. Joel scored 6 in one match and I took him off at halftime !. He completed his hatrick 4 mins 22 secs from K.O. !

Ards Rangers U14...2009 - 2010 (06/06/09)
COMBER 7's...ADAM COWDY MEMORIAL TROPHY...WINNERS
The start of the new 2009 season began with Ards Rangers Juniors being asked to play in the Adam Cowdy invitational Tournament. Rangers played the first stage of the tournament on Tue 2nd June 2009. The first round was a league based competition with the top two from each group qualifying for Saturdays knockout stage. Rangers played some great football and qualified as group winners...
